JMHO but think I'd label him a buffoon ... all his characters & routines are basically the same (i.e. bang bang bang). The only time I've seen him play a character with some sense (that I remember) was playing the Wayans' brothers father on that TV show. Glad to see a black man working but ...

Ertime I see him, he's acting like... well, something not nice (ha ha). Admittedly, I've not seen tons of his work; just some of it. So, I concede there may be a whole other side to him that I'm unaware of.
It's possible I'm in the minority on this one. :)

I actually think he is D all of the above. I understand he's a working actor and needs to pay the bills. But I still think he contributes to negative stereotypes.

hmmm.. wow.. this is a good one.. i gotta say that john appears to be one that the "d" all of the above doesn't fit because we respect him.. but indeed "e" none of the above doesnt' fit him because we have seen him coon, buffoon and jackass. now that i am forced to decide.. i am gonna have to go with d, but lets hope he gets it together?

He is COOL!! He is a Black man that is an ACTOR... Why lable him... He is good at what he does and what do u call Jim Carey? He is never serious... He is funny and acts like an idiot... Entertainment thats what its called... I know one thing he has a beatiful home and lots of cars.. So he is doesnt to much care about what people have to say about him... Have a Blessed Day!
